Bruce!

I'm sitting in guitar class for this eavesdrop. [Tired as ever, might I mention.] My teacher begins talking with a student in my class about Bruce Springsteen. I swear, they talk about Bruce Springsteen every single day! It's ridiculously annoying to have to hear about that guy every guitar class. My teacher isn't even that into him, I can tell he's just being nice by conversing with the student who mentions the boss on a daily basis.

Last year in guitar class, this same student did a presentation on Bruce Springsteen that was so agonizingly boring. It was so boring that even the teacher was falling asleep. Now, all they talk about is Bruce Springsteen's upcoming concert in Toronto and how expensive tickets are going to be.

I don't understand all the hype! I don't think he's even that good. I could NEVER picture myself listening to any Springsteen. His performance at the Super Bowl was less than decent. I could've sworn I was watching a beginner guitar player! His songs are SO easy to play. And was having six guitars on stage REALLY necessary?! But in his defense he did have a strong stage presence which I find is always important whenever I out to see a band.

I don't think I'll ever understand what people think is so amazing about Bruce Springsteen.
