Lead

Mr. Kwon,

After many months of searching I believe I may have finally found the man who was responsible for the death of your son. My team of investigators located a man named Johan Liiva who meets the description you gave us. He has a tattoo of a coi-fish on his left arm that matches the photo exactly. Liiva was born in Gottenburg, Sweden in 1987. His parents died when he was just one year old in a terrible fire. He was adopted by the Nakamura family who raised him in Japan.

What makes me almost certain that this man is the man you've been searching for is what I observed as I pursued him earlier this week. I followed Liiva through a ravine where he met with another person and donned traditional red samurai armour and began to spar. The fact that he is trained in the art of the samurai is a dead give away. I don't think he suspects at all that we have been searching for him all this time.

Sir, this description, along with the given timeline suggests that Johan was involved in the tournament that took place two years ago where your son was tragically murdered.

Following this letter you will find photos of Liiva.

I will wait for your response. Until then, I will continue to pursue and observe Liiva.

Regards,

Engine Number 9
